SCV Membership Requirements
Membership is open to all male descendants of a Confederate Veteran
Member must show direct or collateral family lines and kinship to a Veteran
A genealogical tree, showing the kinship is required.
Proof of Confederate service is required
Usually a copy of the veteran's military service record can be obtained from the State archives.
Member must be at least 12 years old
The SCV has a network of genealogists to assist you in tracing your ancestor's Confederate Service
2nd Lt. Commander Nick Nichols is Camp 1387's resident Genealogy Specialist who will assist you in tracing your ancestor's Confederate Service.
